This Eye-Opening Truth Will Increase Your Faith.

The world wants to see the God we believe in. They desire perspective, revelation and a glimpse of truth from someone like us; that is just as vulnerable as they are. People feel they can’t see, touch, hear or feel God. They assume he isn’t real or he is invisible and unreachable.

The truth is; God is a visible God!

Our visible God can be experienced everyday in miraculous ways. He can be recognized moment by moment in the middle of our ordinary lives. We see him in the stars, the moon, the sun, ocean, flowers and in all creation. We feel him when we love, laugh, hurt or cry. We know he is with us when there is nothing left to hold onto; and we are encouraged by unexplainable hope. God speaks to our hearts in only ways we can understand. He will meet us wherever we are.

We are each unique and intricately designed; yet God is specific to each of us and our needs. He proves his love when he doesn’t have to. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) He whispers contentment and embraces us with tender love. God protects us with angels and supernatural power.

God is a visible God!

Every day we choose to put our faith in people and this world; trusting in some things that have previously failed us. We’ve been pained, rejected and shamed by people. Some of us are desperately in need of approval, acceptance and love. We seek fulfillment from things that will never truly satisfy. We settle for whatever stops our bleeding hearts and the wailing of our souls. We seek after and long for something; anything to calm the disorder and chaos within us.

We yearn to see and experience a visible God!

Sadly, I’ve been stuck in similar situations for years. I still fight and struggle to satisfy my needs and desires for approval from others. However, God is working in my life and in the process of setting me free. As I’ve asked him to reveal my motives and intentions; He’s speaking truth into my soul and stripping me of people’s attention and acceptance so I must turn to him in my times of need. This is not because he is a mean God. This is not because he forced it upon me. This is because I was sick and tired of chasing after meaningless, unproductive results that damaged me further. He is doing this because of his great compassion and love for me. He is renewing my mind with his word and knowledge. This renewal is a daily process, occurring by his grace, mercy and power; one day at a time. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2)

God is a visible God full of power, mercy, grace and love that proves himself to us daily!

Now when I smile at someone and they don’t smile back, and I wonder if I did something wrong or if they don’t like me; I capture that thought and grasp for the truth. I hold onto my visible God and allow him to embrace me with his love and word. I remember and I know who I am in Christ Jesus. I am a child of God who is loved, chosen, accepted and approved! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Will you allow a God who is just as real as the air you breathe, to speak to your heart and meet all your needs? Will you pray with me to experience God in supernatural ways; beyond what we can ask, imagine or think? God wants to be visible to you; so you may experience an intimate relationship with him; his unfathomable love and power. Because God is a visible God.

Heavenly Father, thank you for your presence in our lives at all times. Thank you for your promise that you will never leave nor forsake us. Please fill us with your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding; renew our minds; purify our hearts and speak life into our souls. Equip us to carry out your calling; advancing your Kingdom for your glory. Thank you for meeting us where we are. Reveal yourself to us in supernatural ways and show yourself strong to us. Thank you for being a visible God; please increase our faith to believe and open our eyes to see you more. Amen
