Let me begin by bursting your bubble just a little and tell you that I'm not Ellen or Oprah so these 12 days aren't coming with daily prizes. (Sorry, I hated to do that.) They do come with the gift of connection, sass, fun and a good dose of Maggie's holiday spirit (which sounds like a lollipop flavor...I'll get on that). There may also be a little surprise in the works for my readers on one of the days. (Keep an eye out on DAY 2, December 14th. *wink* )
Now that's out of the way we can focus on the fun festivities because...
It totally makes sense to share the TCO3 goodness this season because The Chronicle of the Three Trilogy is the perfect Christmas read. Why? I'll tell you.
1. If you read all three books you work your way through Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas with a big bang of a New Year's finish. There's snow, tree-decorating, gift-giving and hot chocolate alongside the demon slaying and saving the world. So it's like a sass-filled journey through the entire holiday season.
2. It's all about family, and aren't the holidays all about family too? So, it makes sense.
3. It has all the makings of a Hallmark Christmas Movie. If you don't believe me you can read the potential plot outline here. (Warning: Reading the linked post may make you want to dance.)
4. It's a great gift to share with friends so you can all fangirl together. I know that's a bit of a shameless plug but picture it...You and your girlfriends (or guy friends) all curled up on cozy couches, with plenty of snacks (don't forget the pie and lollipops) buddy reading the trilogy on the day after Christmas or as a New Year's book club deal. You take breaks to laugh, converse, cry. It's great way to relax and unwind together after the busy-ness of the holidays. (If you are totally introverted and completely peopled out after all everything, you can just have TCO3 book club by yourself.)
